My friend's son recently joined for his first job in a software company in a city in Tamil nadu. He had advised his son through whatsapp to write daily accounts of the money he earns and spends.
But his son had send him a very tough worded message refusing to do so. This had hurt that gentleman a little. He lamented about this to me. And even showed me the message get got from his son in his mobile phone. (Given below)
Suddenly it struck me that I can "use this" as a good content to teach a little WRITTEN ENGLISH to all. So I asked him to send me a copy of it, if possible.
Given below in my "post portem" analysis of that message.
Introduction
Many times in our life we are forced to say "NO" to the other persons for so many reasons. They make ask use to do something we don't like. Psychologists even say that it is good to say "NO" than to say "YES" and get involved in unwanted problems.

"Writing the daily expenses is not needed, I think. I'll do it when and if I feel like doing it. And I don't bother if it is stolen or lost. I am not materialistic... unless it is a very big sum.
== My improvements begin with symbol "==°
"Writing the daily expenses is not needed, I think."
==Dad, I think it is not necessary to write my daily expenses.
"I'll do it when I feel like doing it."
== Of course, I will implement your idea when I feel it is necessary. Anyway thanks for showing your concern .
"And I don't bother if it is stolen or lost."
== Ya, as you have highlighted, sometimes it may be stolen or lost. But it is ok.
"Not materialistic, unless it is a very big sum."
== Of course, unless the lost sum is a big sum, I feel writing accounts is not needed. Sorry to say this.... I dont feel like giving more importance to materialistic things.
