The Lion and the Mouse : One day a lion was waken from his afternoon nap by a group of mice scurrying all about him. Swat! went his huge paw upon one  little creature. The mouse pleaded for mercy from the stately beast. The lion took compassion upon the tiny mouse and released him.

A few days later, the lion became trapped in a hunter's net. His roars made the whole forest tremble. The little mouse whose life was spared approached the lion in the snare and used his sharp little teeth to gnaw the strong ropes until the lion was free.

Comments -- Recently, I came to know that AESOP had written more than 650 moral stories in Greek centuries ago. I thought I can pick some stories from internet and provide Tamil meanings for hard words in them.

என் கருத்துகள் : சமீபத்தில், ஈசாப் என்பவர் பல நூறு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே 650 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நீதிக்கதைகளை கிரேக்க மொழியில் எழுதி உள்ளதை அறிந்தேன்.

Sending a bike in train

SENDING A TWO WHEELER IN TRAIN  -  My name is Sakthivelu Ramachandran [name changed]. I am studying MCA Post Graduation in  ABCD College of Engineering, Salem.  My native place is Kumbakonam and now I am staying in my aunty's house in Salem. My aunty has two sons. The elder son's name is Navaneetha krishnan alias Naveen, and the younger son's name is Venkatakrishnan.  Naveen is a Civil Engineer in a private civil construction company at Chennai. His office is far away from his rented house. Daily he travels in the metro train, gets down in a place and then he walks 3 kms to reach his office. So he couldn't go to his office in time.
