Rama linga Vallalar's birthday is on October 5 / அக்டோபர் 5 ஆம் தேதி ராமலிங்க வள்ளலரின் பிறந்தநாள் ..

He was one of the most famous Tamil Saints and also one of the greatest Tamil poets of the 19th century. / அவர் மிகவும் பிரபலமான தமிழ்  முனிவர்களில் ஒருவர். மேலும் அவர் 19 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டின் மிகப்பெரிய தமிழ் கவிஞரும் ஆவார். 

He was very much against the caste system because of the adverse impacts it had on society. / அவர் ஜாதி அமைப்புக்கு எதிரானவர். ஏனெனில் அது சமுதாயத்தில் பல பாதகமான தாக்கங்களுக்கு காரணமாக இருந்தன என்று கருதினார். 

In 1867, he established a facility serving free food named "The Sathya Dharma Salai" in Vadalur. / 1867 ஆம் ஆண்டில், வடலூரில் "சத்ய தர்மம் சாலை" என்ற பெயரில் ஒரு இலவச உணவு கொடுக்கும் அமைப்பை அவர் நிறுவினார். 

There all people are served free food without any caste distinctions. / அங்கு எந்த ஜாதி வேறுபாடுகளும் இல்லாமல் எல்லாருக்கும் இலவச உணவு வழங்கப்படுகிறது. 

He declared religion in itself a darkness. He laid a very great emphasis on being vegetarian. / அவர் மதம் ஒரு இருள் என்று அறிவித்தார். மேலும் அவர் சைவ உணவுக்கு மிகுந்த முக்கியத்துவம் அளித்தார். 

He advocated a casteless society. Vallalār was opposed to superstitions  and rituals. / அவர் மதங்கள் மற்றும் ஜாதிகள் அற்ற சமுதாயத்தை உருவாக்க விரும்பினார். மூடநம்பிக்கைகள் மற்றும் சடங்குகளை வள்ளலார் எதிர்த்தார்.

On 25 January 1872, Rāmalingam opened the "Sathya Gnana Sabha" (Hall of True Knowledge) at Vadalur. / 25 ஜனவரி 1872 அன்று, ராமலிங்க வள்ளலார் வடலூரில் "சத்ய ஞான சபா" வை  உருவாக்கினார். 

This place is not a temple; fruits, flowers are not offered, and no blessings were given. It was open to people of all castes.

இந்த இடம் ஒரு கோவில் அல்ல; பழங்கள், மலர்கள் அங்கு  வழங்கப்படுவது இல்லை, மற்றும் அங்கு யவருக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் வழங்கப்படுவது இல்லை. 

இங்கு அனைத்து சாதியினரும் வரலாம்.
