தனியான நெருப்பு கங்கு அல்லது தனியாக எரியும் மரக்கட்டை
A man, who regularly attended family and group meetings suddenly, without any notice, stopped participating.
குடும்ப மற்றும் குழு கூட்டங்களில் தவறாமல் கலந்துகொண்ட ஒருவர், திடீரென எந்த அறிவிப்பும் இல்லாமல், பங்கேற்பதை நிறுத்தினார்.
After a few weeks, one very cold night the Leader of that group decided to visit him.
சில வாரங்களுக்குப் பிறகு, மிகவும் குளிரான இரவில் அந்தக் குழுவின் தலைவர் அவரைச் சந்திக்க முடிவு செய்தார்.
He found the man at home, alone, sitting in front of a fireplace where a bright fire burned.
அவர் வீட்டில், தனியாக, ஒரு அடுப்பு முன் உட்கார்ந்து இருந்தார். ஒரு பிரகாசமான நெருப்பு அதில் எரிந்து கொண்டு இருந்தது.
The man welcomed the leader. There was great calm & silence.
தலைவரை அவர் வரவேற்றார். பிறகு அங்கே பெரும் அமைதியும் மௌனமும் நிலவியது.
The two men only watched the dancing flames around the logs that crackled in the fireplace.
இரண்டு பேரும் அடுப்பில் வெடிக்கும் கட்டைகளைச் சுற்றி நடனமாடும் தீப்பிழம்புகளை பார்த்துக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்கள்.
After a few minutes the leader, without saying a word, examined the logs that formed the fire and selected one of them, glowing most brightly of all, and removed it to the side with a pair of tongs.
சில நிமிடங்களுக்குப் பிறகு, தலைவர், ஒரு வார்த்தையும் பேசாமல், எரியும் மரக் கட்டைகளை பரிசோதித்து, அவற்றில் மிகவும் பிரகாசமாக ஒளிரும் ஒன்றைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து, அதை ஒரு ஜோடி இடுக்கி மூலம் தூரமாக அகற்றி வைத்தார்.
Then he sat down again.
பிறகு மீண்டும் அவர் அமர்ந்து கொண்டார்.
The host was paying attention to everything, fascinated.
வீட்டில் இருந்தவர் எல்லாவற்றையும் கவனித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார். பரவசம் அடைந்தார்.
Before long, the lone log’s flame subsided, until there was only a momentary glow and the fire soon went out.
சிறிது நேரத்திற்கு பிறகு, தனி மரக் கட்டையின் சுடர் தணிந்தது. ஒரு சிறிய வெளிச்சம் மட்டுமே இருந்தது. பிறகு நெருப்பு முழுவதும் அணைந்தது.
In a short time what was previously bright light and heat had become nothing more than a black dead piece of wood.
சிறிது நேரத்தில் பிரகாசமாக எரிந்து கொண்டு இருந்த நெருப்பு, இப்போது ஒரு கருப்பான மரத்துண்டாகி விட்டது.
Very few words had been spoken since the greeting.
ஹெலோ சொன்ன பிறகு அவர்களிடையே சொற்ப வார்த்தைகளே பேசப்பட்டன.
Before preparing to leave, the leader picked up the useless piece of wood with the tongs and placed it again in the middle of the fire.
புறப்படுவதற்குத் தயாராகும் முன், தலைவன் அணைந்து போன விறகுத் துண்டை இடுக்கியில் எடுத்து மீண்டும் நெருப்பின் நடுவில் வைத்தார்.
Immediately, the piece of wood was rekindled, fuelled by the light and heat of the burning logs around it.
உடனடியாக, மரத்துண்டு மீண்டும் எரிய ஆரம்பித்தது.
அதைச் சுற்றி எரியும் மரக்கட்டைகளின் வெப்பத்தால் அதை எரியத் தொடங்கியது.
When the leader was about to leave & had reached the door, the host said:
தலைவர் கிளம்பி வாசலை அடைந்ததும், வீட்டுக்காரர் இப்படி சொன்னார் :
‘Thank you for your visit and for your beautiful lesson. I'll return to the group soon.’
‘உங்கள் வருகைக்கும் அழகான பாடத்திற்கும் நன்றி. நான் விரைவில் குழுவிற்கு திரும்புவேன்.
Why is a group important in our lives ?
நம் வாழ்வில் ஒரு குழு ஏன் முக்கியமானது?
Very simple:
மிகவும் எளிமையான:
Because each member that withdraws takes fire and heat from the rest.
ஏனெனில் விலகும் ஒவ்வொரு உறுப்பினரும் மற்றவர்களிடம் இருந்தும் வெப்பத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.
It's worth reminding group members that, they are a part of the flame.
குழு உறுப்பினர்களிடமும், அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் சுடரின் ஒரு பகுதி என்பதை நினைவூட்டுவது நல்லது.
It's also good to remind us that we are all responsible for keeping each other's flame burning.
ஒருவரையொருவர் சுடரேற்றிக் கொண்டிருப்பதற்கு நாம் அனைவரும் பொறுப்பு உள்ளது என்பதை நினைவூட்டுவது நல்லது.
And we must promote the union among us so that the fire is really strong, effective and lasting. Keep the fire burning.
நெருப்பு உண்மையில் வலுவாகவும், பயனுள்ளதாகவும், நீடித்ததாகவும் இருக்க, நம்மிடையே ஒற்றுமையை நாம் ஊக்குவிக்க வேண்டும். தீயை அணையாமல் எரிய வைத்துக் கொண்டே இருக்க வேண்டும்.

குழுவும் ஒரு குடும்பம் போலத் தான்.
*It doesn't matter if sometimes we are bothered by so many messages, quarrels and misunderstandings*.
சில நேரங்களில் நிறைய செய்திகளால், சண்டை சச்சரவுகளால் மற்றும் தவறான புரிதல்களால் நமக்கு தொந்தரவு ஏற்பட்டாலும் பரவாயில்லை.
What matters is to be connected.
எல்லாவற்றையும் விட நாம் ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் இணைக்கப்பட்டு இருப்பது தான் முக்கியம்.
