மலையாளத்தில் மம்முட்டி, நயன்தாரா நடித்த 'பாஸ்கர் தி ராஸ்கல்' படம் தான் தமிழில் 'பாஸ்கர் ஒரு ராஸ்கல்' என்ற பெயரில் "ரீமேக்" ஆகியுள்ளது.
In Malayalam, Mammootty and Nayanthara acted in a movie called 'Bhaskar The Rascal'. This has been remade in Tamil as 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal'.
மம்முட்டி இடத்தில் அரவிந்த்சாமி, நயன்தாரா இடத்தில் அமலா பால் என்பது ஒரு பக்கம் அதிர்ச்சியாக இருந்தாலும் இருவரும் முடிந்தவரை அவர்களுடைய கதாபாத்திரங்களைக் காப்பாற்றியிருக்கிறார்கள்.
It is very difficult to imagine Aravindsamy in the place of Mammootty and Amala Paul in the place of Nayanthara. However, the two have kept their characters as good as possible.
அரவிந்த்சாமி மனைவியை இழந்து ஒரு மகனுடன் வசித்து வரும் வசதியானவர்.
Aravindsamy is a rich or affluent man who has lost his wife and is living with his son.
அமலாபால் கணவரை இழந்து ஒரு மகளுடன் வசித்து வரும் மற்றொரு வசதியானவர்.
Amalapal is another affluent woman who has lost her husband and is living with her daughter.
அரவிந்த்சாமி மகன் மாஸ்டர் ராகவ், அமலாபால் மகள் பேபி நைனிகா இருவரும் ஒரே பள்ளியில் படிப்பவர்கள், மற்றும் நண்பர்கள்.
Aravindsamy's son Master Raghav and Amalapal's daughter Baby Nainika both attend the same school, and are friends too.
ராகவ்வுக்கு அமலாபாலை ரொம்பவும் பிடிக்கும், நைனிகாவுக்கு அரவிந்த்சாமியை ரொம்பவும் பிடிக்கும்.
Raghav likes Amalapal very much and Nainika likes Aravindsamy very much.
அதனால், அரவிந்த்சாமி, அமலாபால் இருவரையும் சேர்த்து வைத்தால் அனைவரும் ஒரே வீட்டில் மகிழ்ச்சியாக வசிக்கலாம் என முடிவெடுக்கிறார்கள் சிறுவர்கள்.
So, the kids decide to join Aravindsamy and Amalapal so that everyone can live happily in the same house.
இருவரும் அதற்கு சம்மதிக்கும் நிலையில் இறந்துவிட்டதாக நினைத்த அமலாபாலின் கணவர் உயிருடன் வந்து நிற்கிறார்.
When the two agree to join together, Amalapal's husband, whom she thought was dead, comes alive.
அதன்பின் என்ன என்பது தான் படத்தின் கதை.
What follows is the rest of story of the film.
"அமுல்பேபி"யாகவே பார்த்துப் பழகிய அரவிந்த்சாமியை அதிரடி ஆசாமியாகப் பார்க்க கொஞ்சம் கஷ்டமாகத் தான் இருக்கிறது.
It is a little difficult to see Aravindsamy, whom we had always seen as an "Amul Baby", as an action hero.
அவரும், முறுக்கு மீசை, விறைப்புப் பார்வை என என்னென்னவோ செய்தாலும் அவரிடம் உள்ள அந்த "சாக்லெட் பாய்" "இமேஜ்" இத்தனை வயதான பிறகும் போக மாட்டேன் என்கிறது.
Even if he does something like a twisting his moustache and sports rough looks, even after so many years, that "chocolate boy" image refuses to go away from our mind.
மலையாளத்திற்கே உரிய தனித்துவமான கதாபாத்திரம், அதை முடிந்தவரையில் தமிழுக்குப் பொருத்தமாக மாற்றித் தர முயற்சித்திருக்கிறார் அரவிந்த்சாமி.
As far as possible Aravindsamy had tried to adapt the unique Malayalam character to Tamil.
பத்து வயது மகளுக்கு அம்மாவாக இருந்தாலும் மிகவும் இளமையாகவே இருக்கிறார் அமலாபால். அவ்வப்போது "கிளாமராகவும்" காட்சியளிக்கிறார். அதையெல்லாம் தவிர்த்திருக்கலாம்.
Amalapal is very young despite being the mother of a ten year old girl. From time to time she appears "glamorous". This could have been avoided.
மலையாளத்தில் நயன்தாரா நடித்த அளவிற்கு நடிக்கவில்லை என்றாலும் தன்னால் என்ன செய்ய முடியுமோ அதைக் குறையில்லாமல் செய்திருக்கிறார் அமலாபால்.
Although she has not acted as much as Nayanthara in Malayalam, Amalapal has done what she can, without fail.
படத்தில் அரவிந்த்சாமி, அமலாபால் ஆகியோரை விட நம் மனதைக் கவர்பவர்கள் மாஸ்டர் ராகவ், பேபி நைனிகாவும் தான்.
In the film, Master Raghav and Baby Nainika are the ones who captivate our mind more than Aravindsamy and Amalapal.
இருவரும் முடிந்தவரை இயல்பாகவே நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். நைனிகா மட்டும் சில காட்சிகளில் கொஞ்சம் ஓவராகவே நடித்திருக்கிறார்.
Both have acted as naturally as possible. However Nainika has acted a little more than required in some scenes.
ஒரு குடும்பக் கதையில், திடீரென வில்லன்கள் வருவது நம்பும் மாதிரியில்லை.
In a family story, the sudden arrival of villains is unbelievable.
கடைசியில் இறந்தவர் உயிருடன் வருவது, ஹார்ட்டிஸ்க்கைத் தேடி வில்லன் அப்தாப்ஷிவ்தசானி வருவது என கதை தடம் மாறுகிறது.
The story changes track at the end, when the dead man comes alive and the villain Aptap shivdasani comes in search of the Hardisk.
அரவிந்த்சாமிக்கு அப்பாவாக நாசர், என்ன கொடுமை சித்திக் இது? அண்ணன் மாதிரி கூடத் தெரியவில்லை நாசர்.
Nasser as the father of Aravindsamy, what an grave mistake Siddique ? Nasser doesn't even look like his brother.
அரவிந்த்சாமிக்கு எடுபிடியாக சூரி, ரோபோ சங்கர், ரமேஷ் கண்ணா. சூரி மட்டும் கொஞ்சமாக சிரிக்க வைக்கிறார்.
Suri, Robo Shankar, Ramesh Kanna are Aravindsamy's friends or assistants. Suri alone makes us laugh a little.
'பிரண்ட்ஸ்' போன்ற காதல், குடும்பப் படங்களில் கூட நகைச்சுவையைத் தெளித்த இயக்குனர் "சித்திக்" இந்தப் படத்தில் அதை ரொம்பவே 'மிஸ்' செய்திருக்கிறார்.
Director "Siddique", who has sprinkled comedy scenes even in a romantic and family film like 'Friends', has missed it in this film.
அம்ரிஷ் இசையில் பாடல்கள் "ஓகே" ரகம் கூட இல்லை. விஜய் உலகநாதனின் ஒளிப்பதிவில் ஒரு பணக்காரத்தனம் தெரிகிறது.
The songs in Amrish music are not even of the "OK" genre. There seems to be a high class influence in Vijay Ulaganathan’s cinematography.
பெரிய அளவில் படம் ஈர்க்கவில்லை என்றாலும், இரண்டரை மணி நேரமும் போரடிக்காமல் ஜாலியாகவே போகிறது.
While this is not an eye catching movie, of course, it keeps us engaged for two and a half hours.
பொழுதுபோக வேண்டும் என்று நினைப்பவர்கள் தாராளமாகப் பார்க்கலாம்.
Those who think they have time for entertainment can watch this movie.
